Jan’s Story

On Monday March 23rd, Jan went upstairs to get ready for bed and went into cardiac arrest. Lars heard a bang and she had passed out in the bathroom. He was able to start CPR until the ambulance got there.  They were able to shock her heart back. She was admitted to the ICU at St. Joseph Hospital where she currently is under sedation. This will be a long process to recover and to find out the extent of the damage.  Because of the Covid-19 virus, the hospital is under lockdown, we are not able to be there visiting.
