Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting. Janise and her family were shocked to learn that cancer has once again returned after 17 years since her battle with breast cancer. On August 18th x-rays at a rheumatology appointment indicated one hole on each side of her pelvic bone. A further PET scan was completed on August 28th. She is scheduled to meet with the oncologist to discuss the findings on Thursday, September 2nd. Janise had been struggling with bronchitis for a while but suddenly the morning of Monday, August 30th Dale had to call for an ambulance as she was struggling to breath and shaking terribly. She was admitted into the hospital in St Croix Falls after they discovered that the cancer had spread to her lung and she had a large amount of fluid around her lung, causing her breathing struggles. They drained one liter of fluid, which was the most they could do, however this was not enough to help the problem. On Wednesday, September 1st she was transported to St Paul Regions Hospital Cancer center for further care to figure out the root of the problem. At this time it appears the cancer has spread to her lung, shoulder, uterus, and pelvic bone. We are asking for prayers of strength, hope, quality of life and that she is able to come home soon to be with her friends and family. Kayla will be updating the Caring Bridge page as more information comes to light. We thank you for your prayers and words of encouragement ❤️🙏
