Mom died today a little after 2 pm, surrounded by her sister Sue, her daughters Sharon and Angie, her son-in-law Donnie, her grandchildren Audrey, Logan, and grandson-in-law Ryan.
She is now awake with her husband Tom and daughter Amy.
After 54 years of successfully keeping the normal ravages of type 1 diabetes at bay, she is able to rest knowing the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding.
