Janet’s Story

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting. 
We aren’t sure where to start as we share about Janet’s journey.  We were waiting until Janet had decided what to share but she has had so many other hard decisions to make. She’s also been busy with visitors. Janet hasn’t felt well for a long time, years actually. We finally got an answer for the main problem January-April of this year. She has a lung disease, pulmonary fibrosis. It’s a tough diagnosis as there is not a good medical option. The one possibility was a lung transplant. Janet worked as hard as she could to become a candidate and be placed on the list. Unfortunately that was not to be. She has had a lot of visitors and we all thank you for that. She gets very tired now and we ask for your prayers as she spends these few days with her family. Please feel free to share messages to her via this site and share this site with those who know her so we  can share with her.

We share with you the news that Janet’s struggle to breathe ended this morning. She now enjoys eternal peace and joy. While our plans for Janet included working toward a lung transplant, God’s plans for her were different. Instead of being a recipient, Janet’s final gift was becoming a donor. Her corneas will be used to help others.
We thank you all for everything!
