Hello all - not sure if you are aware but today is 1 year since Jan's transplant.  Time sure flies - hard to believe all that has passed since June 25, 2019.
As we reviewed the posts from last year it was hard to imagine all that went on with her health, her MELD score, the infection complications, the work of the DR's, Nurses, Nursing Assistants, Rehab specialists, Social workers, etc. to see her now is nothing short of amazing.
The care Jan (we) received was first rate - they took away all other concerns regarding being away from home so Jan (and I) could focus on her getting better every day. 
as of today things are very well - her scores are well within the ranges they need to be, and her medications are being reduced to reflect her vital scores so she remains very healthy 
her blood draws are reduced to 1X per month and seeing the Dr.s 1X every 3-6 months. all that is done in Superior and Duluth.
We had many plans to see you all this summer - but Covid-19 has put an end to those ............
Jan does get out (somewhat) Menard's is a good place because of the policies they have in place, Jan was wearing a mask as precautionary before the Pandemic - but now it is an everyday practice along with Social distancing, just can't chance it with her suppressed immune system.  We are really routing for a quick vaccine and an end to this -
