I wanted to take a moment to write one last entry in Janet's Journey,

As we Celebrated Janet's beautiful life on Saturday, we were literally in awe of the sheer number of people who came to both celebrate Janet and support Yancy, the boys, myself and our entire families.  While Yancy, Grant, Gavin and I stood at the front of the church we truly had no idea the amount of people circled around in the lobby area waiting in line to express condolences.  Our sincere apologies to you if you were not able to get to the front of the church and were also unable to stay for the service.  We definitely felt the love flowing throughout the church and from each of you!   

There will never be enough words to express our immense gratitude for all of the hugs, kind words, stories shared, and heartfelt support we received.  We were touched deeply by the out pouring of support from family, high school friends, coaches, co-workers,  Froedtert ICU staff,  the list goes on and on.  

Our deepest gratitude to Janet's dedicated group of Prayer Warriors as they swooped in (literally some from out of state) and brought food for our family, helped out in anyway we needed, helped decorate with beautiful butterflies everywhere,  kept checking in on us throughout the day, brought snacks and water to us at the front of the church, and so much more.  This incredible group of women, Janet assembled as her primary Prayer Warriors prayed feverishly from the weeks before Janet's double lung transplant surgery to today and beyond.  Thank you for EVERYTHING ladies!

Huge Thank you to Pastor Todd and his wife Michelle (from Bridge Church) for an absolutely beautiful service as well as  attempting to keep the lines moving and for keeping the entire day on track.  We also express our gratitude to RiverGlenn Christian Church for hosting and providing a wonderful staff to make coffee and help us with whatever we needed, this team was incredible and we couldn't have done it without them and the church itself... THANK YOU!!  

Now as we begin to navigate life without our precious Janet physically with us we ask that you continue to keep us in your prayers.  As you know the loss of Janet leaves an immeasurable hole in so many aspects of our lives and our hearts.  The pain will not soon fade as we try to fine our new normal so any and all prayers are always welcome and so heartfelt.  

God Bless you and PLEASE, PLEASE let us know if we can be praying with specific intention for you, your family so someone you're close to you.  We would absolutely love to come alongside you as your prayer warriors.
