Janet’s Story

Site created on August 27, 2022

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

This August, Janet was admitted to the Medical City in Ft. Worth twice with abdominal pains and other concerning symptoms. Both times, she was treated for sepsis and chronic infection in the abdominal region near the stomach and pancreas. During the second stay, an endoscopic ultrasound revealed a mass. A biopsy was performed. On August 18, the biopsy result revealed that Janet has stomach cancer.

Her treatment plan is to have surgery August 30 to remove the mass and all infected tissue  in the upper abdominal region.
