Jane’s Story

Site created on August 14, 2021

Hello everyone! We have decided to create this site to mainstream communication. Please feel free to send this link to anyone that would like to be updated on how Jane is doing. To see her updates, please click on the "Journal" tab at the top of the screen.

Thank you all for your continued thoughts and prayers - everyday there are small miracles for her that we are very thankful for! Due to Covid, the hospital is limiting the number of visitors, so please do not feel the need to visit at this time. She knows you are all thinking of her, and for that we are appreciative.

Journal entry by kailey dold

Hello everyone! It is with great joy and excitement that I get type the words “Jane is home!!!”

Jane has started to clean the house, and reorganize things back to where they belong, despite being told to take it easy :) She will schedule her out patient therapies to start next week. With just a few supports for home, she has been given the all clear to do almost everything she wants to do! The family cannot thank everyone enough for your continued prayers and support through these past two months. Her physical therapist said it best -  her progress is truly miraculous. During her discharge meeting with the medical team, they were saying how they wanted to make her goals for discharge wheelchair focused because it was the best guess for how mobile she would be.

Exceeding all expectations, my god, we’ve made it!

xoxo
