Newest Update

Journal entry by Schauna Harshman

Continuing Friday…the Dr came in this afternoon and told her that her breathing tube could come out today! She is currently sitting up with just the nasal cannula and she’s talking and eating/drinking!

What a difference from yesterday to today!!!! She continues to get better every day and has made huge strides! She is still in the ICU but when I was on FaceTime with her tonight she said they are moving her tomorrow!

I can’t even tell you how grateful I am. Before she was intubated and we were essentially saying “goodbye and I love you” there have been many times where I thought that could have been the last time I talked to her.

I plan on going back there tomorrow and will update more then.
