Hi all,
It’s been awhile since our last update so I thought I would take a quick minute and let you all know what’s going on. We went to Froedtert on October 6th and got the good news that Jamey does not need a bone marrow transplant. Talk about a win! He does however need two to four more rounds of chemo, called consolidation, to make sure they got all the aml. They gave Jamey until the end of the month to gain some weight, get some of the blurry spots out of his eyes, and spend some time with his family. So here we are. Back in the hospital. This time it’s only for three days. In 3 out for 25 and then back at it one more time. Hopefully Jamey will be back to work after the New Year. For now we are just focusing him getting him back to good.

Cela fait un certain temps depuis notre dernière mise à jour, alors j'ai pensé prendre une petite minute pour vous faire savoir à tous ce qui se passe. Nous sommes allés à Froedtert le 6 octobre et avons appris que Jamey n'avait pas besoin d'une greffe de moelle osseuse. Tu parles d’une victoire ! Il a cependant besoin de deux à quatre cycles supplémentaires de chimio, appelés consolidation, pour s'assurer qu'ils ont bien reçu toute l'AML. Ils ont donné à Jamey jusqu'à la fin du mois pour prendre du poids, éliminer certaines taches floues de ses yeux et passer du temps avec sa famille. Donc nous en sommes là. De retour à l'hôpital. Cette fois, ce n’est que pour trois jours. En 3 retraits pour 25, puis de retour une fois de plus. Espérons que Jamey retournera au travail après la nouvelle année. Pour l’instant, nous nous concentrons simplement sur son retour au bien.
