Today Jakob is going for his routine 3 month brain MRI a few weeks early. Last week he had an episode of severe headache and vomiting right after he started his new meds, which do have a lot of gnarly side effects. I spoke with his oncology team when this happened and they thought it be a good idea to speak with his Neurosurgeon/Radiation Oncology team. To be on the safe side, since his CT showed some new activity, Dr. Johnson didn't want to wait a few more weeks to get his MRI. Other than that one episode last Friday he is tolerating these meds exceptionally well. He reports no side effects currently which is very, very good. We know this can change at any time but we're happy now.
