The brain MRI is not as good as we were hoping. The bone cancer has spread to his skull which is not a total surprise as it's present in his spine. There is also some question between the radiologist and the radiation oncologist on what they are seeing where the original tumor was resected. The radiologist thinks it's possible that new activity is developing and wants to share with a tumor review panel. The radiation oncologist, Dr. Johnson, who ordered the MRI, thinks it's just normal radiation changes post radiation and ordered a follow-up MRI in 6 weeks. I'm not super comfortable with this so I set up an appt for his Neurosurgeon Dr. McCracken to go over this with us. We will meet with him June 18. Side affects are getting to Jake a bit these past few days unfortunately too. Yesterday was especially bad with fever and chills. He is continuing on though and I've been in constant contact with his Oncologist. These meds do work, there is literally a war going on inside his body. Keep praying, keep vibing for us, we appreciate it.
