Jake’s Story

Jake and three of his friends were unfortunately involved in a serious auto accident early Sunday, July 9 2023.  Their injuries ranged from one boy's bumps and bruises to Jake's jaw fractures and traumatic brain injury (TBI).  


For those of you who don't know him, Jake just graduated this spring from Hartland HS, and was working for his Uncle and Aunt's business to save money for this fall's college tuition.  Jake's mom and dad (Jody and EJ) have four boys: Travis (wife Ashlyn and son Koven), Jake, Wyatt, and Sawyer.  Jake loves hunting and fishing, spending time with his friends, and even more time with his girlfriend Jana.


Jake certainly sustained a significant brain injury, but we have no fear.  All of these events are part of God's plan for him, and His will be done.  Jake, his brothers, and parents are all guided by the Holy Spirit and comforted by the love and support of family, friends, colleagues, and teammates.


We're ALL in this journey together....Go get 'em Jakers!!!
