Journal entry by Jacqui Ronallo —
Last night we packed, as we were so anxious to get home.
My appointment to get the Central Line out was @ 7:30. The thought of it coming out wasn’t good but on the other hand I couldn’t wait for it to get out. Bandage removal, sutures removed then a quick 1,2,3 and it was out, I handled it great, Mom grabbed my hand, I think she needed comforting LOL. After that had to lay flat for about 45 minutes to be sure it wouldn’t bleed.
During one of our walks in the Subway we found shirts that said it all “hopeFULL”, Mom also bought the same shirt so we can be twins.
I am HOME now! Time to actually rest.
It is a great feeling that I was able to secure my stem cells for future use, hoping that I won’t have to or it will be many many years before I will have to use them.
Thank you everyone for the messages, prayers and cheers to get through this process. It wasn’t something fun to do and I’m very glad you all and Mom with me to laugh away the scary stuff.
Thanks Mom 🥰
This is the end of this Chapter onto another one.
