He did it! We have made it home! Yesterday I got a phone call around 10am, Jacob said they are taking out his pick line for iv antibiotics! He told me he would get to go home with me tonight at 6. I couldn’t believe it! I thought for sure he wouldn’t be able to go home till Thursday. He will continue out patient therapy at Madonna, he goes back Friday morning for a evaluation and then they will recommend how often they need to see him. But we enjoyed the evening last night with grilled steak and delicious food with close family of his. He tells me he slept really good. We slept in a little this morning. I took the day off to spend it with him. We’re going to all the places he wants to see and doing what he wants to do. It’s still unreal that we have made it to this point! So thankful and blessed for the support and for how far we have come! ♥️
