Jake is probably at the lowest of his cancer journey right now. He's lost 85 lbs from beginning weight at diagnosis. He's been through numerous PET scans, CT scans, oral and IV chemotherapy drugs, cancer clinical trials and now on chemo pump which is the last option.

He is back on a very powerful chemo cocktail now that two years ago caused him stomach problems, skin rashes and going bald. Every day I see his body changing and getting more frail. It's killing me to see this and so I hug, hold him and make sure that he know that he's loved. Not only by me: his family which is on both sides, his coworkers whom respect and love Jake for his loyalty with the company for years to the point where he was recently promoted to project management and has his own office now , no more field work.

We realize that our time together could end this year or not. We leave it in God's Hands.

We, as well as other cancer patients and caregivers, have been changed permanently from cancer. No longer do we worry about the little things and are alot stronger than before. We have our down days but the support is immense and we all get back up.

We have no time for hate. For haters calling cancer patients and their caregivers "victims and attention seekers"

If only they could see their loved one suffer daily and bodily change.

There are so many more positive than negative and we strongly encourage you to let family deal with the haters, problems, day to day things, with support groups, non-profits...etc.

Nothing is worth extra stress being put on a family fighting for time with their loved ones.

We are praying for you all !! HANG IN THERE. Never ever give up.
