Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. Our son Jacob has been diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma (bone cancer).  We serve a mighty God of miracles and are fully trusting in a complete healing. May God be glorified through Jacob’s story! We appreciate your prayers, support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Journal entry by Lynn Larrazabal

I recently realized I never updated Jacob’s CaringBridge account. For those of you that may not know Jacob ran ahead to Heaven on November 18, 2021. Unbeknownst to anyone he had a brain tumor that caused his brain bleed. Although he had been declared cancer free from CT scans and MRI’s in May and August 2021, there was no protocol in place to have a PET scan done which would have seen the brain tumor.

It is hard to believe that today marks six months since we said our “see you later”.  We continue to covet those prayers that have been lifted up on our behalf. Please know how incredibly grateful we are because we do feel them. It is through those prayers that our God sustains us, comforts us, strengthens us, and ultimately meets all of our needs. Every text, call, or note has been received at the exact moment of need. Although they may produce tears of sadness and longing, they are quickly replaced with joy and a rejoicing that Jacob is with our Lord Jesus Christ. Because of who Jacob was we always end up smiling and laughing at memories of him. We know he would not want it any other way.

We miss our sweet Jacob terribly. Our hearts are not broken but shattered. However we serve and glorify an amazing God who is loving, faithful, compassionate, and trustworthy.  Our hope is found only in Him. We believe He will continue to walk (and sometimes carry us) through this journey. May He grant us peace and joy until we reunite with Jacob.🙏❤️🙏

With love and thankfulness,

Jose, Lynn, and family❤️❤️
