The continued prayers & support are working!! God is good. 

Jacob is comfortable & has been sleeping a lot. He was able to shower for the first time without support or help today. He's still SO positive about all of it. He's been awake for longer periods of time this weekend & enjoys company! Visitors are welcome whenever, as long as you're okay with him going to lay down randomly. He get's tired very quickly, so there's no way of telling when the best time would be. He's been enjoying time outside today relaxing and watching Charlie play in the yard while Petey talks his ear off LOL. 

Charlie is BEYOND happy to have her daddy back! She cannot get enough of him. She knows she cannot jump on him & wrestle with him, but she likes to "carefully cuddle him" & "take care of him" by surrounding him with all of her favorite stuffed animals, blankets & pillows. 

He is healing SO incredibly quick. You'd never guess he is healing from what had happened if it weren't for his 2 black eyes. He's on a soft food diet, but he mainly only has smoothies or yogurt as he can't really taste anything. 

He's not one to not be doing anything, so he looks forward to having his restrictions off so he's not so limited to what he is allowed to do. He has not yet been told his recovery time, but "he sure hopes it damn soon".
