Journal entry by Janine Palmer

We had a great time at the Levine Chidrens Gala last weekend!

Jack did an amazing job on the guitar and talking on stage!  I was definitely more nervous than he was, thankfully!  He played Here Comes the Sun and even got to use the Gibson he so loved to play while he was at Levine!  He was excited about that. And he looked so handsome in his tux!
The woman in the red dress was the emcee and she was the one who interviewed him.  And his Dr, Dr Tsai, who I constantly bragged about in past posts, is in a picture with him.  He was seated at our table.
We didn’t quite make it to see Flo Rida, who was the surprise guest for the night, but we still had a great time!

In other news, we only have 2 more outpatient PT sessions left!  She’s been great about giving him some good plans to get him back to where he was before - stretches, running plans, strength exercises - now to actually implement them at home!  That’s truly the hard part!  She did do an analysis of him at the last session and he’s had a lot of improvement since his first day so that was very encouraging!
And life is starting to get back to normal again.  He left his job at zaxbys and is now working at Jersey Mikes, which he loves!
And, after a long time coming, he finally got his permit today!  🎉🎊🎈

The game plan now is to continue to build up his endurance, strength and flexibility.  It’s a slow process but he’s making great strides!

Thanks so much to everyone who has reached out to us to check in on him and still prays for him!  We so appreciate this and so appreciate your continued prayers!

Thanks again!❤️❤️🙏🙏
