Hello everyone, our family wanted to share that Jack/Dad/Da/Captain Jack recently received news that a solid cancer has been detected in several places. This report came from a pre-op screening done for an upcoming heart valve replacement procedure, which is now, of course, put on the back burner. While an official diagnosis has not yet been given, we are sharing this news now to get the word out for prayers to start. As you well know, both mom and dad are deeply devoted and faithful servants of God and rely on their unwavering faith for comfort in God’s will. Blood work and a biopsy are scheduled for next week. Treatment will be determined with those results and will start as soon as possible. We are so blessed with so many loving friends and family and are grateful for your prayers.
