Well, it's been one year.  On November 6, 2018, we were all anxiously waiting at UAB for Jackie to have an 8+ hour surgery to have a grade two glioma brain tumor removed.  But, today....we are celebrating her 1st #Cranniversary (that's the term for the anniversary of your brain surgery on the brain tumor support Facebook group that Jackie belongs to).  Can't believe that it has been a year, time really does fly!!  Jackie is doing great and other than having to take only one medication and have MRI's every three months, we are so blessed on her recovery. Amazingly, Jackie went back to work in February and moved into a new apartment (that she loves).  We have learned to be grateful for every day and never take a moment for granted. 

God gave us all such peace the day of Jackie's surgery.  Not knowing what lay ahead, we all felt His comfort and knew that she was in HIS hands!!  Jackie even said later that she felt God right there in the surgery with her!!  So thankful to our amazing Healer for all He has done and continues to do in our lives!!

We recently took a family vacation on a Mediterranean cruise (Spain, France and Italy), something that we were planning when we found out about the tumor.  So, it was so good to be able to share that time and enjoy Jackie experiencing Europe!! So grateful that she is healthy and able to enjoy life!! 

Again....without the prayer support of so many and the wonderful family and friends we have, we couldn't have made this journey without each and everyone!!   AND to our HEAVENLY FATHER for HIS love and mercy.....we count our blessings. 😍 🙏
