We had a CT scan in Salt Lake on Thursday - Mom's team of doctors meets on Friday mornings, so they wanted a scan done to see how much progress this round of treatments technically made.  Originally scheduled 6 treatments, was made into 5 because of that snow storm.

She got the phone call yesterday morning with good news! Her Oncologist, Dr Karrigan called,  reporting that the CT scans show a 50-70% decrease in the size of the tumors.

The team was very pleased with her results, as it was a bigger decrease than they expected.  Finally a surprise to them that leans the positive way! She has two more treatments of chemo on the calendar and then they will want her to start six weeks of daily radiation/chemo treatments. 

By the first of December we should have a solid handle on this and know what her maintenance will look like in the future too. 

Things like, visiting her grandkids in OKC and returning to work will be back on the table!
