Welcome to Isaac’s CaringBridge Site
Sign In to Show Your SupportIt’s been one week since Isaac’s doozy of a heart cath. He was pretty sore and having intermittent chest pain (all of which are normal) and were treatable with Tylenol. He is SO happy to not wear oxygen and SO happy to be able to go outside, he even rode his bike!
We have been seeing oxygen levels higher than before but not as good as the hospital. Keep in mind he is a lot more active at home. We are seeing dips into the low 70s and sometimes 60s but they pop back to the 80% range a lot quicker! So we are happy and the oxygen stays tucked in the corner not being used.
He was gifted this massive Lego set from his PopPop, and Aunt and Uncles which I sort of hide away for this recovery period. Well, he cruised through it in about 4 days and got it finished up last night!
Believe it or not we are heading back to school (slowly) to make sure Isaac doesn’t get too pooped out and he is excited! Second grade has track and field in 2 weeks so I’m hoping they can find some fun activities for Isaac to participate in and who knows maybe he will be back to full strength by then!
Have a great Friday!
Michelle
