Isaac’s Story

Site created on June 16, 2018

Isaac is going to have surgery in San Diego, CA. Surgery is currently scheduled for 6/26/2018. The surgery will clear out the scar tissue in his lungs from bilateral pulmonary embolisms that he developed last year from a blood clot in his leg.  Due to the scar tissue in his lungs, he now has severe Pulmonary Hypertension that is making right side of his heart work too hard.  The surgery should reduce the pressure in his lungs, so that his heart can start to recover and strengthen.  He will be flying out to San Diego on 6/18 for preoperative testing, and I will be flying out on 6/24 to be with him for the surgery and recovery time.

Hello Everyone. Thank you to everyone that said prayers for Isaac. He is home. We flew out yesterday at 10:51 from San Diego, and landed in Appleton at 9pm. Made for a long day, but we are home. Isaac is considered cured per the doctors. Again thank you everyone for your prayers.
