Today is a great day! I am all done with my radiation treatment.  I am very surprised that my skin looks as good as it does. According to the doctors, I took very good care of my skin.  I was very diligent about using the cream that was given to me before treatment started and during treatment.  Although I still have a lot of recovering to do from the radiation which will pose more side effects within the next couple of weeks.  Long term side effects are a given and I will just have to wait and see what happens.

I am returning to work on Monday, April 4th.  I hope my body cooperates and can get me through a 40 hour week.  I am excited because this is part of getting myself back on track living normally again.

Healing for me will be the day of my last infusion in November and when my port is removed.  I will only have follow up appointments and tests moving forward.  I am considering myself very lucky. 

I will continue to post because it is kind of a therapy session for me and I know it keeps you updated as well.  Everyday is not always a "good" day.  I have moments that make me feel down or just off and tired of the process.  It is easier knowing I have all of you to give me support.  Thank you for that.
