Ike’s Story

Site created on September 10, 2019

Many of you have been asking about Ike, wanting to keep up with his condition. We have decided to start a Caring Bridge page so that we can keep all of his friends and family updated. The family asks that you continue to keep Ike in your prayers. In the words of Ike's very faithful mother, Ivy: "What my family needs now is God's grace and mercy.  Please pray for Ike and for our family for God's divine intervention. I still have hope and am waiting upon the Lord."

Journal entry by Vicki Morton

Today would have been Ike's 17th birthday so this is a difficult day for the Dolphan family. In talking to Ivy today, she let me know that their family had a very quiet Christmas and New Year's, just trying to deal with the loss of their son/brother/grandson.

Please continue to keep the Dolphan family in your thoughts and prayers and maybe, if you feel compelled, send them a message of support on this very difficult day. We all miss Ike!
