So, what started as a stomach ache on June 5th became internal bleeding which became a diagnosis of Liver Cancer on June 9. I'm Ida's daughter, Diane, and I'll be using this site as a way to keep everyone informed of what's happening with Ida and how she's doing as we start this adventure.  She got to come home on the 9th and we are in a holding pattern until June 27 when we go to see the liver oncologist.  We have no idea how advanced her cancer is, what to expect or what treatment options the doctors suggest for us. There will be lots of new information on the 27th.  If you would like Ida's address, please email me and I'll send it to you.  She would love to get mail, but has a hard time talking much on the phone.  I'm also happy to answer any questions.  She's in good spirits, considering.  We're both saving our energy for what's down the road.
