It has certainly been a minute since my last journal entry! The holiday season brought much activity and time well spent with family. 

Most importantly, I am happy to report that Hunter is nearly fully healed from where we last left off.

 Freed from the wound vac before Christmas with no complications since, and now nearly fully healed and settling back into his apartment , life normalizes for him more each day. Hunters last follow up with his cardiac team was excellent as he has been taken off of the anti arrhythmic medication, but will remain on blood pressure meds for the next year which is standard following almost any open heart procedure. His blood pressure remains within target range and the doctors are pleased to see his accelerated progression.

To say the least, this has been an experience for us all and now with only a little over a month of recovery to go, this all will soon become nothing more than another chapter in life. I personally wish to thank each and every one of you for the support that you have shared during this time. You all have contributed to incredible healing. May 2024 be the dawn of great things for you all!
