Journal entry by Lindsey Garrett

We are HOME! The past few days have been crazy busy with preparing to bring little man home and then actually bringing him home! It’s a whole new world. I’d say he is enjoying his house and toys. He loves his momaroo and bouncer. We had our first pediatrician appointment yesterday. He did really good. He is now 8lb 8.5oz. BIG BOY! Our pediatrician is setting up our referrals to our therapist and specialist we will need to see but we will continue going to Atlanta for our neurology follow ups. The day before we left Atlanta the doctor came by and did a exam on him to see what he would do and what he would react to. He did SO good. She said she was so happy with what he is doing and was very encouraged. We have continued doing his little PT exercises since we’ve been home and hope to get our therapies set up soon.

Blake and I have decided to do a Facebook page to share more pictures, videos and quick updates. We can’t really do this on caring bridge BUT we plan to continue doing the caring bridge once a week to give a big update. Here’s the link to that Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/healinghudsong/

Please continue to pray for Hudson’s brain to heal and for him to start swallowing. Also pray for Blake and I as this is a lot with all of the medicines, doctors appointments and equipment.
