Hudson William Adcock, 5 ½ months, of Woodson passed away before his time Friday, Oct. 5, 2018, at St. Johns Hospital. This happy little baby was born April 17, 2018, into a family whose love knows no bounds. He was by far the best thing that has ever happened to his mommy, Thomasina White and his daddy, Bryce Adcock Jr.

Surviving are his parents; grandparents, Kevin (Lee Stone) White of Roodhouse and Bryce and Patti Adcock Sr. of Woodson; great grandparents, Roberta Shaw of Jacksonville, Becky (Doug) Davenport of Murrayville, Judith White of Roodhouse and Laird (Elena) Kroeger of Quincy; aunts and uncles, Chris (Bethany Doolin) White of Glasgow, Tasha (Tommy Richards) White of Naples, Amber (Janson) Nesbo of Winchester and Connor Adcock of Woodson; great aunts and uncles, Rhonda (Todd) Clayton of Concord, Reg Shaw of Jacksonville, Mike White of Roodhouse, Carmen White of Roodhouse, Kirk (Mary) Adcock of Jacksonville, Carrie Adcock-Mack of Springfield; great great uncle, Paul (Linda) Adcock of Kenosha, WI; cousins, Jade Hamilton of Naples, Ashten Richards of Jacksonville, Jealene, Ty, and Macie Clayton all of Concord, Harper White of Glasgow and Mason Mack of Springfield and god-father, Evan Crow of Murrayville. He was preceded in death by grandmother, Robin White; great grandparents, Red Shaw, Joe White, Bob Adcock and Phyllis Moore.

Hudson loved to snuggle, laugh and roll around as long as daddy’s back was turned. He loved to kick those little legs non-stop. His smile could bring you to your knees. Hudson’s favorite movies were Rio 1 and 2 along with all the Shrek movies. He enjoyed them so much he would wake up at 2 a.m. to watch them while he snuggled or played with his mommy and daddy. He loved having the “ABC’s” hummed to him, “You Are my Sunshine” sung to him, and of course, he loved “Baby Shark.”

A celebration of life will be held 4:00 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, 2018, at the Daws Family Funeral Home in South Jacksonville. Visitation will be held Friday, 2:00 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
