Howard has done exceptionally well since his surgery for appendiceal cancer in March. He has had three scans since his surgery that have all been clear of cancer. He also underwent removal of his esophageal stent. Unfortunately, as a result of the cancer surgery, he has developed two surgical hernias. He will be undergoing surgery to address these hernias this Wednesday, December 2, 2020.
