We are so happy to share such sweet news with you all after our time at St. Jude. 

First, Holland’s scan is CLEAR - showing no signs of disease or tumor. This is the best news! Her labs and blood pressure all looked very good and stable. All good signs that her half a kidney is working. 

Thank you for praying sedation would go smoothly. It was one of her easiest wake ups to date and she was calm, happy and in great spirits before and after the MRI. 

Holland’s doctors at St. Jude are incredible and they were so happy to see Holland doing so well. We will never get over how grateful we are for them and for St. Jude. It’s simply a very special place. Our time at St. Jude these past few days was a blessing. While we are flooded with memories, we also made new sweet ones with a joyful girl who looks and feels worlds different than she did a year ago. Praise God! (And having Reese with us this go round was a huge gift. Holland was so happy she was there.) 

There are parts of Holland’s medical journey that will be in motion for a while. She will continue to be scanned every three months for many years and we will continue to go to St. Jude annually as part of that rhythm. But each time one of these scans comes around, we will stop and praise God for what He has done. Only He could do what we’ve seen!
