Friends of Henry ❤️

Yesterday the home that was built by Habitat for Humanity in Henry’s honor was dedicated and the keys were turned over to a single mother of three precious children. A family Bible was presented and Henry’s story was shared, prayers were spoken and  cookies were eaten. It was a special day for the new homeowners and our family as well.

In some ways it was a precious and joyful moment and in other ways it was a solemn reminder that Henry was no longer with us.  We were blessed once again by friends of Henry showing up. They came from virtually every circle of Henry’s influence to support us and we are so incredibly grateful. Thanks to all of you who worked on the home alongside of us and also to those of you who were able to give financially to Habitat for Humanity in honor of Henry.

It has been just over five months since Henry passed on to Heaven. Our family would like to say thank you to each of you (all 20,000 who visited this caring bridge site) for the way you have supported us and encouraged us as we make our way through this process of grief. Your acts of kindness, prayers and thoughtful words have helped us beyond measure. We will always give thanks to God for the many ways He used you to bless us. Words fail…..

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is Good, His love endures forever!
