Harvey is 9 months!
Some big milestones he had made are:
He is now sitting unassisted.. while rarely folding in half. But hey! A win is a win!
He says “ba ba ba” all day long and LOVES to shake his head “no no no”.
He wants to be on the move so badly. He is alway spinning in circles while on his belly, but can’t seem to get up in the crawling position or have strength to use his arms and pull himself.
In the month of May, we celebrated Mom’s (Kaisa) 30th birthday and Sister’s (Lennie) 4th birthday. 🥳
We have been enjoying the days outside when it is warm and not windy.
Harvey loves watching his cousin, Rudy, play football and baseball. Something about boys and sports. 😉
We made a couple appearances at graduation parties.
Honestly, this month felt very busy, but maybe it’s just because of all the yard work.
Blue spells are still happening. I would say they are not as often as before. He doesn’t completely pass out and stop breathing each time. However, he does still become completely exhausted and wiped out after an episode happens. Pray and fingers crossed that this means he is growing out of them.
We had an appointment with GI (that we have waited months to see). After seeing Harvey have formula coming up and out of his mouth nearing the end of a blue spell, I thought these could be GI related. He has always been extremely hard to burp and would have gas build up like no one’s business. He would be completely uncomfortable and had many nights before falling asleep where he would scream out in pain.
The GI doctor didn’t seem too concerned with anything regarding Harvey, which is good. She believes he could just be swallowing an excess of air while eating and possibly having difficulty eating. Doc ordered a swallow study to be performed and we will go from there.
Enjoy some cute pictures to recap our month!
