Helen left this world for her heavenly rest on April 10 at 6:15am EDT. She was resting quietly without pain or agitation, breathed two final breaths and then slipped away. As in life, she left us in her own fashion, without drama or disturbance. She is in the arms of the Almighty now.

Her wake will be hosted at St. Mary's Catholic Church in the Sanctuary, 85 S. Madison Street, Custer, MI, from 6 to 8pm on April 13, 2018. Her funeral Mass will be the following morning, with a brief viewing of the casket before the service, at 11am at St. Mary's Church. A funeral luncheon will follow.

The family asks that those who wish to make a memorial donation consider St. Mary's Altar Society, Great Lakes Caring and Home Hospice of West Michigan, or EWTN.
