I know it has it has been quite some time since the last update,but there has been a lot happening.  Per the last update we were going to be utilizing more of the traditional methods of cancer treatment for Alyssa.  However after the initial meeting with the radiation specialist it was decided to look into other treatment options for many reasons. 

So on May 29 Alyssa and her mom flew out to Scottsdale, AZ to the Envita Medical Center (www.envita.com).  She has gone through the consultation process and is into the lab process.  They will begin doing the lab testing and then in a short time the actual treatment process will begin.  You can read more about the process on their website if you would like.

This process will be approximately 8 - 12 weeks long and she will be staying in Scottsdale for the duration.  We were blessed by a local Church in AZ with a place for her and her mom to stay as well as a vehicle to use.  We know the Lord gives us the strength to make it through the different seasons in our lives and that is what we are relying on.  She is an amazingly strong person both physically and mentally and the Lord will carry her through, and we are waiting for the amazing results on the other side of this.
