Journal entry by Wendy Fullerton

On Monday, Dad continued to receive great news. The Lymphoma is gone!!  Praise the Lord.

To be sure that there are no microscopic cells lingering he has to undergo an additional treatment of Chemo called Methotrexate.  This is administered for 4 hours and then flushed out of your system.  You go home when your methotrexate levels are at a safe level.  Everybody's system flushes at a different rate so not sure when we come home yet.  He will repeat this part of the treatment 2 more times every 3 weeks.  Because it is chemo and is poison if left in his system he will need to be hospitalized each time.

So how did the first treatment go??  Everything went well yesterday.  Today he has had some nausea and upset stomach but we expect that to get better as the chemo leaves the system.

They will test his levels today (Thursday) at 1:30 or so and with any luck, they will be dropping and hope to come home tomorrow (Friday).

That's all for now.
