A month has passed.  It has been a busy time getting claims made for social security, life insurance, all the farm business and just reorganizing my home a bit. After five months of "noise" (many people coming and going) it is relaxing to have some quiet.   I can still see Harley looking up towards Jesus, sustainer of all!  And now he is in the wonders of heaven, which we know only in part.  It is with those thoughts that I have peace. I share with you a poem written by my friend Nancy Tinnean.  

A bird is nestles in the trees, sensing fall is in the breeze,
Looking yonder in the sky,
Wondering which way he'll fly.
To reach the soft warm southern air, where once again he'll have no care;
A bountiful harvest he will find,
And never a thought of things left behind.
He'll make new friends, find a home, and know he no longer has need to roam,
For God cares and love him so, in the fall of his life before the snow.
And so God has a place for you, in the fall of life He is not through,
You need only to feel the breeze, 
While seeking Him upon your knees.
Let Him show you where to be
And open your eyes that you may see;
All that he has for you to know
In the fall of Your Life before the snow.

I'm reminding myself every day to be on my knees and in God's word. To find where He leads in my fall of life.  I'm thankful every day for God's provisions and direction.
