Hannah is a champ! She's doing so great and asking when she can try walking. They say she's progressing so fast. Her heart is working on beating at its normal size instead of doing so much extra work so they're keeping her BP lowered still. That'll be meds for a couple months and then probably never again. The surgeon stated this should correct the problem for life! She's so thirsty due to anesthesia and meds and begging for water all the time. They removed her NG tube this morning and she's very very talkative about soreness and pain. She asked to see her incision and asks all the nurses questions about being nurses and of course about their pets :)
5:30 pm
Hannah has now sat up, walked to potty, peed on toilet and had water, jello, apple juice. We’re moving out of ICU soon! That’s less than 24hrs in ICU, she’s doing amazing
