About three weeks ago, I could not breathe well, was coughing blood and had not had a good night of sleep in over a month. Martha and I prayed and ultimately decided we preferred the hospital to the undertaker. Thus began a two week marathon. There were a couple of times when my survival was uncertain, but thanks to the kids' initiative, our circumstances were shared through this media. I am humbled and deeply thankful for the response of the Family of God, for your petitions to the Lord on our behalf. We now believe, although there is much to do, there is hope. I ask you to petition further on my behalf that I will honor the Savior with what little or much time He gives. I'm reminded of what He said, that we would know His disciples for their love for one another. I thank and praise Him for all of you.
