Happy Mother's Day! For this one, unfortunately, Halie is in the hospital for the weekend. This stay is eerily reminiscent of her long scary hospitalization one year ago. The docs think, just as last year, she likely has an infection in need of some heavy-dose antibiotics to fight it off. She is already doing so much better than she was yesterday, and the best news is the brain scan they ran did not indicate any cancer advancement. But they are still waiting on some cultures to come back to diagnose her officially.

We are sending thanks and love to our amazing network of Halie-supporters here in Denver, for wrangling the kids yesterday and today: especially Farfar, the Biehls, the Sterns, the Cooper-Sloads, and our neighbors German and Laurel. All three kids had fun sleepovers. And yesterday the boys finished out their Spring soccer games strong, including with Alton's first GOOOOOOOAL of his soccer career!

The kids and Farfar are about to come over for a quick Mother's Day visit, and we're hoping we can get Halie home tomorrow. In the meantime, please send prayers, well-wishes, and positive vibes. Thank you all so much for supporting Halie and our family. And we are sending back great energy to all the mommas, here and gone, we love you all!
