Journal entry by Dianne Gingrich —
Hello everyone, we visited with Griffin tonight and he was very tired and lethargic. Last night was a rough night for him. The medication they gave him really had a negative affect on his body and he was exhausted but his body was wired so he couldn’t go to sleep. He got to visit with his grandma Wendy and his grandpa Scott today which gave Ashley and Zack a little relief. As we understand the process, He’s hooked up to an IV which is designed to flush his body of the first round of chemo and then they give him a “rescue drug” to boost his system again. Please pray for a good nights sleep for Griffin Ashley and Zack and that God protects Griffins little body from the chemicals and only attacks the cancerous cells. And please pray that griffins appetite continues to stay good and pray for the nursing staff.
