Newest Update

Journal entry by Christina Ferris-Peck

Griffin had his post-op appointment yesterday, and all is going as good as can be expected. The bottom of his incision is still working to fully heal, but the surgeon isn't concerned and thinks it will just continue to slowly seal up. He was happy with his post-op x-rays, he went from about 87° to about 61°. This is as straight as the surgeon wanted to go with Griffin. At T10 they took a wedge out of his vertebrae and are happy with the way it's looking and healing. Next appointment is March 6th, and after that he will likely be given the okay to bend and twist. As of now he can lift up to 25 lb or so.

Griffin is back to work full time, still taking breaks while working from home (from my apartment). Still walking as much as he can and icing and heating as needed. He's also getting acupuncture twice a week until he goes back to Morris. Everything is on track!
We are sincerely grateful for this outcome!!❤️
This will probably be the last update in CaringBridge. Thanks so much for following and for all of the prayers and support! We are thankful and blessed!

Peace and Love,
Christina and Griffin
