Last couple of weeks have once again been a roller coaster. Griffin went in for an MRI, was given some more chemo and did a stent in the ICU because of seizures.. He is out of ICU and doing much better but won’t be home until his white blood cells are on the rise. This last round of chemo was very hard on his little body and he has been sleeping a lot. I believe our Lord makes beauty out of ashes, but I have told him that we’re ready for the beauty because the ashes are getting old.

Last Friday, the play structure was built for him, but the party did not happen as he was not there. I know he’s going to be so excited when he gets to see it and actually play on it. Griffin is still in good spirits when he’s feeling well, but he is very lethargic.

Please pray for his mucositis to be healed quickly as he is not eating, it is too painful. And please continue to pray for all organs of his body his sight, his hearing his walking his talking and every system of his body. As humans we feel so hopeless, but we know our only hope is in our Lord Jesus Christ. I believe the Christ is still holding Griffin in the palm of his hand and continuing to heal him, and I will be glad when we are out of this valley, please pray with me. .

Heavenly Father, our Lord, Lord of Lord and King of Kings, the maker of Heaven and Earth, you see all and you know all - you know what we need before we ask, and you have planned every step of our life, Heavenly Father we come to you humbly and ask you to be with Griffin and to heal him, Lord. He has ended so much in such a short period of time and you have held him and been with him through it all,  and I ask you Lord to heal him and let him be a little boy. Please be with his mom and his dad and love them and give them your peace and your strengthen your courage. Jesus, we know that you experienced everything that we do when you walked on earth. You  have compassion and  love and understanding and we don’t doubt that you a with us. We know that your timing is perfect and we’re looking forward to when your perfect timing shines through this darkness and Griffin is running around playing on his play structure and laughing like an all little boys should. Lord Jesus, it breaks my heart when I see him lying in bed unable to do anything just feeling unwell? We will feel so hopeless because we cannot do anything and once again we give it all to you, Lord, every bit of our aching our grief and our waiting. we will wait patiently for you Lord, and we are looking forward to win. You heal Griffin completely and we can sing glory to our Lord and savior who held us through this time in our lives. Hear our prayers oh Lord and thank you for all of the blessings that you give us each and every day. Thank you for our health the air in our lungs and the creature comforts that you have blessed us with. May we shine your light through us as we encounter others, and show them your love as you have shown your love to us. Amen.
