Well we made it home with Griffin on Tuesday evening.   He is glad to be home to see his bother and little sister, and sleep in his own bed.  
Though Griffin does have things to work on, he acts, talks, and plays like any 7 year old boy.
He and Will wasted little time and actually played a little catch with a football in the front yard when we got home.
  A big challenge is to hold him back from wrestling his brother, running around, and being wild!  Though he can do these things, we don't want him to re-injure his head.
Griffin will continue to work on his physical strength,  balance, and school work.  He does have some headaches and dizziness at times, but these should continue to improve as he heals.
   We are so elated to have him home and doing so well.  We are also so grateful for all of the love, thoughts, prayers, encouraging words, and gifts of kindness that have helped bring us through this challenging time.  We are so fortunate to have so many people surrounding us and providing us with hope when we needed it most.
   Many people have asked throughout this if they could contribute to a GoFundMe page or help us in some other way financially. We appreciate all of the offers, however, throughout the course of this process and with everything else going on, we have gained new perspectives on the unfulfilled needs that surround us. We know that schools, churches, businesses, and people all around us need help. We hope that Griffin's story can be a light in this dark time and that you can reach out and be a light to those around you in need.
