A week, and a few days later...
Greg kinda, sorta released himself from the hospital on Friday, November 29th. The doctor on call agreed to let him go home, although she said she would much rather keep him over the weekend. Greg wasn't having that. I wasn't entirely comfortable taking him back to Glen-Isle, so we stayed in a hotel a couple of miles from the hospital, just in case.
We got back to Bailey Sunday afternoon. If you know Greg, then you know how difficult it's going to be for him to sit in a cabin while he is recovering. I'm trying to convince him that he would make a great bookkeeper for the 2019 business expenses. So far, no luck. 😜
Thank you again for all the prayers, love and support. Greg has a whole slew of doctors appointments over the next few weeks/months, and a surgical procedure that will be need to be done in the next couple of weeks to remove the device in his stomach to catch any blood clots coming from his legs. He starts physical therapy this Friday.
We would love your continued prayers for his complete restoration, and for Medi-Share to truly cover their portion of surgeries, medical bills and hospitalization. 🙏❤️
After the new year, we are back to astronomical, traditional insurance!
