Journal entry by Amy Beth Coleman

Beloved Community,

We share the news that Greg claimed the resurrection on Saturday morning, June 12. He has been surrounded by family and friends in these last days, and faithfully by his partner and love, Amy Beth.  They are both so grateful for your prayers and support.

Please join us in celebrating Greg’s life through a Service of Death and Resurrection on Tuesday, June 15 at 2:00 pm at Heritage UMC, 582 Leesville Road, Lynchburg.  Visitation will be Monday, June 14, 6-8 pm at Robinson Funeral Home in Appomattox.  Burial will be private.

Greg and Amy Beth know that the presence of God has walked with them, and continues to do so.  Join us as we speak with them these words of Psalm 30:1-5 (CEB):

I exalt you, Lord, because you pulled me up;

    you didn’t let my enemies celebrate over me.

Lord, my God, I cried out to you for help,

    and you healed me.

Lord, you brought me up from the grave,

    brought me back to life from among those going down to the pit.

You who are faithful to the Lord,

    sing praises to him;

    give thanks to his holy name!

His anger lasts for only a second,

    but his favor lasts a lifetime.

Weeping may stay all night,

    but by morning, joy!

Grace and Peace,

Team Coleman’s Sister Support Crew
