Grayson ’s Story

Site created on July 14, 2020

July 10, 2020 has become a day we will never forget. We went to the ER for a “quick” COVID-19 test because Grayson had a fever for 3 days. 12 hours later we arrived at CHOP to work up the large mass found in his chest. Fast forward through 3 days of countless tests and procedures, Grayson has been diagnosed with T-lymphoblastic lymphoma. The prognosis is good, but it will be an intense, long battle. We decided to use this website to keep our amazing family and friends updated on his journey. We are overwhelmed by the love, support, and prayers everyone is sending.

Thank you for visiting and cheering on Grayson.

Journal entry by Kristy Voytek

We had a wonderful time last night at the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Grand Finale event for their Man and Woman of the Year campaign.  Grayson was their Boy of the Year, sharing his story and supporting the candidates during the 10-week campaign.  It was truly touching the way they honored Grayson and his journey.  He continues to have monthly treatments at CHOP. After his appointment on May 27, we will be 6 months away from the finish line!
