Granite’s Story

Site created on August 1, 2018

Granite was diagnosed with having a "massive" tumor in his brain on July 30th, 2018.  We met with the neurosurgeon on July 31st, and he explained that there will be two surgeries.  The first will be to cut off the large amount of blood supply to the tumor.  The second will be the actual removal of what they think is a Choroid Plexus Papilloma Tumor (edited: It was a SEGA) and will be the day after the first surgery.   We ask for prayer for this little guy as he awaits for the two surgeries to be scheduled and goes through the two surgeries and healing process with no infection or complications.

PRAISE:

He had some great healing and asked if they could release him last night (he wanted to sleep in his own bed without all the Neuro checks and baby crying next door in the PICU)... so they said if he had a good night as soon as he was done with his I.V. antibiotics he could go home!... So he did!

PRAYER:

No more meningitis, fevers, infection of any kind...

No seizures.

Proper healing of incision and graft.

Happy Resurrection Day tomorrow! Jesus is alive!

Valerie
