We got some great news today! We get to take a "break" from the twice daily Lovenox (blood thinner) shots! Hopefully it will be a permanent break. Graham will have a follow-up ultrasound to check on his clot in 6 months. This means the only "medication" Graham is on currently is a daily multivitamin and Tylenol when those pesky teeth are bothering him. It also means no more frequent blood draws!

Four weeks ago, Graham was really tired and wasn't keeping his bottles down, so we took him in for a quick MRI to make sure nothing was going on with his shunt. All was good and he was back to his normal self the next day. I don't know what happened in that MRI machine, but ever since, Graham has been eating like crazy! Finishing most of his bottles and eating more purees! He is up to 28 inches and 17 lbs, which is great growth!

We are still working hard to motivate Graham to sit up and play. It's difficult, but we're trying to accept that Graham will reach milestones on his own timeline. He has continued to get stronger and stronger which is all that really matters!

Graham's left eye does not like to do any hard work, so we have increased the patching of the right eye from 1 hour to 2 hours per day and will soon increase that to 3 hours per day. If we get that left eye to do more work, that will hopefully mean fewer surgeries in the future.

Graham's hearing aid is doing its job and allowing Graham to progress with his language skills. He loves to express himself, make silly noises, and says "ada" all day long. Much to Mom's dismay, his first word is probably going to be "Dada". 😊

We feel that it's not as necessary anymore to keep writing updates here, so this will likely be our last one!

Feel free to add Jess or Charlie on Facebook or follow Jess on Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/jesswhitmore3/) We post plenty of photos and videos of Graham 😀

We can't say Thank You enough times for everyone following Graham's journey and praying and sending positive thoughts our way. Graham would not be where he is today without all of your support! <3 THANK YOU!!!
